Some other type of crafts...

Ok, many of you have heard through my Facebook that I rescued an abandoned puppy this Monday. It is a lot of responsibility but I am not regretting it at all. Actually, today I made a very important decision... and that is to build a shelter. This morning while cleaning 'Willie Nelson's' kennel this gorgeous black labbie girl arrived to my gate. She was happy waving her tail at me like we were already buddies. I gave her meds as she was clearly dirty of fleas and a parasites pill just in case you know... I talk to animals (seriously do- people think I am crazy), they only respond by waiving tails, jumping or licking me but that is enough for me. I was so sad, I told this girl that I could not keep her but if she stuck around I would find her a home. I left to work in tears. I just cannot believe how people can be so cruel. But oh well, I will not let that bother me as I have so much work in front of me.

I am founding "Before the Rainbow Rescue". Why before the rainbow? Well, dogs when they leave us they cross the rainbow bridge, so all that happens in earth is Before The Rainbow.. so I want to make sure these guys have the best life possible before they go.

When I start running my shelter I will not charge for adoptions and we do give the dogs neutered and vaccinated. The goal is to educate people about the importance of taking good care of their pets and pet overpopulation. I want to reiterate that Before The Rainbow future Rescue shelter will be 100% non profit and will establish a well organized operation.

I will be doing all the legal shtuff to create the non-profit so we can take donations should you be interested. I don't want to set up anything under my name just yet since want to make sure all the rescue funds are crystal clear.
